Very good price. Ain't going to buy one even though i should. Don't really need another cable.

I am sure someone will help out... but I thought that HDMI over short lengths on cheap cable was fine... but over longer lengths they started to lose the quality. If this is the case does 3m classify as a length over which noticable quality will be lost?

Amazing that the 2m ones are £2.00 more expensive than the 3m ones

It all depends on the quality of the HDMI cable, but you definately wont get any loss over a 3m run even with the cheaper cables

There are probably 3 length barriers at the moment for HD signals over HDMI

Passive copper cables of high quality should be good for 15m.
Active copper cables of high quality should be good for 40-60m.
Fiber Optic cables should be good for 100m+

2m ones from ebuyer for a touch under £4 inc free super saver delivery -

Nowhere near their old price of £2.55, but still cheaper if you don't actually need 3m.
