Well 80's cartoons catered towards the wonder in a child's psyche. These days kids television is different. The girl's tv shows are catered towards their hyperactive, hurtling-hurtling-towards-maturity genitals, and shows for the boys lay down how they are either macho uber cool playas or otherwise completely worthless husks of human beings.

you'll understand if you have a cousin whose 12 year old daughter thinks she is ugly, and it is empowering to have a boy interested in you in school....and when some kid who looks about 9 in your neighbourhood yells to hsi friend "don't be a [email protected], i'll pop you son".

anyways social commentary over. but you know....

I know what you mean... but would offer you a counter argument...

My 4 year old, other day, for no reason at all, started explaining gravity to me....... and he was right!?!

I asked him how he knew as much as he knew, and after much questioning by me, got to the bottom of it....

Cosmic Quantum Ray............................................:?

Not this one; I understand that He-Man was was created purely to cater for Mattel's wonderous marketing psyche....

As a child I used to watch this with wonder.

As a man I watched a few episodes of it and it really was the gayest show in the history of the universe.

maybe you were a gay child. But look at it this way, at least you are macho enough now to be threatened by a cartoon with a shirtless men or two. Must resist the gayness....you MUST.
