An entry level running shoe from Head

> Mesh outer for breathability
> Shaped padded ankle for comfort
> Moulded sole
> Synthetic and textile upper. Synthetic sole. Textile inner

Sizes - 6 to 12 inc 9.5 as i write this.

Been on here before for £8. about 6 weeks ago. Bit cheaper this time!

Not sure about the shoe myself but for £6 you cant go wrong. a £49.99 RRP running shoe will be better for the gym than my astro-turfs thats for sure!

Best to get a proper fitted shoe for actual running or you'll end up ruining your feet. These would be ok for casual walking etc though.
#8
have a pair of these and the are comfortable for normal wear. very light, I wouldn't use these for serious running though

go and get fitted for serious running, you may over pronounceate ( or how u spell it lol) the assistants will watch you run, identify your needs and show you the trainers for your style of running etc...

I bought a pair of these last year when I took up running. After a couple of weeks I decided to invest in a pair of £70 Asics.
They did their purpose and got me into running, and I would probably wear them if I was going on a muddy cross-country run.
You can't go wrong at that price and they are actually quite light compared to my Asics.

Bought two pairs, the discount code PEP487WX works (10% off). £14.79 delivered.
#12
Ordered, my son wants these for the gym.
Didn't check for any discount codes before buying. Oh well, 60p more. :)
#13
They're also available in store at £6. Only sizes they had were 9.5 at my local one in Galashiels
#14
Ordered, cheers.

But how would anyone know if an online shoe fits or not?

I went to the Altrincham Branch where they had them in stock priced up with a sale sticker of £15. I mentioned the £6 advert and after about 5minutes was told that they are only avaialble in Scotland, Wales & N Ireland at that price as the England shirt offer is not on up there. Not sure if I was being fed duff information.

It may be true as 'droopy' quoted above bought his in Scotland.

Sorry G_sus, I probably got the last size 11 at about 17.30ish. :)

Bought these last time they were on offer at £8. Well made for the price and have not really shown any signs of wear and tear at all. Nice wide fitting so very comfortable and don't squash my toes like some other trainers.
#21
After something light for cycling, may have a go.
#22
Can't go wrong for that money, ordered 2 pairs. Thanks op, heat n rep given.

http://www.sweatshop.co.uk/

or there a place in south london called decathalon. They have a treadmills and a camera's and computer to check your foot stride.

you either suffer from pronation, supination or you are normal lol.

Oh and these aren't recommended for street running, u'll need some level of support and cushioning. Best to get some advise (please avoid places like JD sports).

Another note, someone said that these are heavier than Asics, they are because Asics use a gel which is quite heavy but absorbs a lot of impact from running :) If u feel asics are heavy maybe try some of the nike ones (lunar or bowerman series).

It was a 1 day offer, which finished yesterday.

My order for size 11 has been cancelled due to lack of stock.
i guess their stock updates are not instant if they take an order then cancel it later.
Oh well, such is life. I'll just wait for the next trainer deal. :)

Got my order from Sports direct this morning correct address but someone else's order inside couple hundred miles away yeah! After contacting SD I now get to pay return postage for feck all! :x

Why would you pay return postage for something you didn't order? Tell them to collect if they want it back.

Already contacted them and told them that, they said.."Customer will have to pay return postage (they won't collect) - with no refund for postage given"
#34
So you say "Then don't have it back, not a problem" and contact your CC supplier to ensure they don't keep the money. They can't make you return a wrong item, even at their expense. You can always insist they collect it.

EDIT: What details do you have for the person this parcel was intended for?

Name and Address only (and that he has or knows a couple of small kids who like Nike air trainers :) )

There a place called Run and Become...

http://www.runandbecome.com/

find your nearest and they will sort you out.
#37
Got mine this morning too. Spot on, got a huge mug and flag for free as well!
#38
I ordered the wrong size (ironic i know), and they said i could either post it back for a refund, (not a replacement), or i could take it to my nearest SD store and get it swapped straight away as long as its untouched nd fully packed & labelled still etc..
#39
Guys, for all Sports Direct offers. IF you can't get your size of anything, or colour or something like that...

Just order whatever one, then take it to your local Sports direct store and get them to exchange it. I did it today with these as i accidentally ordered Size 6. Got a Size 10 now!

Just a little tip to make the most of their offers :)
