How does this Head Lice Comb work? I thought you had to use special shampoo, the same as the one for crabs

You gently comb each one and they peacefully fall asleep.... then you whack 'em with a hammer. I'm sorry, I dont know how it works for crabs. Perhaps someone else may be able to advise.

Although you have provided no scientific evidence, that reply is worth some heat :-D

well you comb the hair with it and it catches the nits when my kids were younger i had to use this all the time along with conditioner as it wouldn`t go through their thick hair then i`d bang the comb down on some white a4 paper and crack the nits with my nails great anger therapy lol and what a noise they made when i squashed them lmao:w00t::oops:

If youve got kids then they are liekly to get nits from somone in their class at somepoint. Comb is the best way to get rid of nits. Put conditioner in the hair, then comb & away the nits come from the hair.

Nits are becoming amune to the shampoos so they are not worth the money, they dont always work.

i wouldnt waste £1.99 of my money on one of these combs having had before , these cheap nit combs dont pull all the nits out at all my daughter sadly had lice for almost 3 months although we were wet combing with conditioner every other night the little feckers just wouldnt go, i then found the nitty gritty comb and after two uses they all went, and to top it off you can get one for free from your GP so better bargin than betterwares.

go to the chemist, you get a top quality one for free if you tell them your child has nits.

Yes, the nitty gritty comb is what you want, free from your GP. Best comb ever IMO.

Not voting either way on this one though.
