please could someone answer 2 quick questions!?
Does the 12 months begin on the date of purchase? so buy on 23/11/16 and expires 23/11/17?
Also, with the friends and family one, could it be 1 adult and 4 children travelling? or say 4 adults and 1 child?
Thanks in advance

I've found this bit....

Group size: At least one named cardholder and at least one child must be travelling to enable discounted tickets to be used. The maximum group size is up to four adults (aged 16 years and over) including the named cardholder(s), and four children (aged 5-15 years).

Just worth a quick mention that if you know anyone with a rail gold card ( annual season ticket) they can purchase one of any of the discounted travel cards for someone else for £10.

Brilliant. Was just about to buy one.

Do these give discounts on advance fares or just the % off regular, full - fare tickets?
#29
Where does it state the areas you are able to use this card? Can't find anything on the mobile site
#30
Are Network Railcards included?
#31
Do these still let you use off-peak tickets at peak times?

Yep, as long as you don't live in the southern region

Sad but true.

We used to be regular train users but since the summer we have stopped using it altogether even though (if reliable and could be trusted) it would be more convenient to use the train.

Upped for a good deal though for most of the country.

About half way down the page under subtitle "plus" . National Rails main website, or just ask at your local railway station, we have been buying cards for family for years like this.

Only before 10am Monday - Friday, there's no minimum fare at other times, or at weekends.
