there is nothing wrong with "bother with delivery" when it would cost you more than £3.50 in time/money/petrol/parking to pick it up.

Anyone know whether its a Polar Chip Transmitter? If so, been after one to use with treadmill..

I dont think you can pick up in store when you order online...... well I cant find out how

I had a friend who bought one of these for £25 and said it kept on giving him erratic measurements. Worth noting if you get a dud.
#13
I bought one of these a while back and to be honest they are not very good quailty also give eratic meseurments.

Maybe it's the pulse that's erratic :whistling:

I pick my kids up from school every day outside a shopping parade which has a Lloyds Pharmacy. I'm sure lots of others may pass not too far from a Lloyds Parmacy whilst going about their daily business. I think the guy that posted about why bother with delivery was probably referring to us.

By the way, I picked up 4 air purifiers, a weight/body fat/bmi scale and an ab toner belt this last week from Lloyds Pharmacy. They were all part of a Buy Any 2 for £20 offer. It seems to be in-store only so I'd go in and check out what's available. I certainly think I got a great deal and am very happy with my purchases, considering some of the items are more than £20 on their own.

Get a polar watch and heart rate monitor, they are so accurate and reliable. I bought a lesser make initially and it wasn't very good with erratic measurements. I then bought a polar and it's been perfect from day one. This was over 2 years ago and it's still working great. I use it 2-3 times a week so the battery life is good also. The one I've got is the exact same one as Edward Norton wears in the Hulk. I was well chuffed when I saw the Hulk was wearing my watch :-D

I have had two of these (got a replacement when the first one broke) and the second one doesn't work either. Pretty gutted as seemed a really good deal (9.99) but no good if they don't work!

And not enough people reporting threads that have been expired incorrectly!

Theoretically this has expired though as the price is incorrect.

Mine arrived yesterday but the battery is very low on the watch (pressing the light button kills it). First impressions on looks only are that the watch is BIG - the face has got to be around 2 inches in diameter. It feels pretty sturdy though and would take some impact. I wouldnt wear the watch anywhere other than at the gym.

I called up Lloyds this morning and they're sending me out a couple of new batteries for it. I'll then be able to check how well the heart rate monitor works etc.

For under £12, if it works, it will be good value.

Well, I've just opened mine and it doesn't do anything, screen is blank! Should I have to do something or have I just got dead batteries??

Thanks.

Is there a battery protector?

Can't see one, it says to take the sticker off before use which I've done but it doesn't go inside to block a battery.

I guess I've just got a dead battery, will e-mail them.

Absolutley fantastic customer service from Lloyds Pharmacy. They replied to my e-mail within about half an hour and I should receive batteries within a couple of days. Not very often you get a reply to an e-mail from companies these days, let alone an answer within half an hour!

Just thought I'd share my good experience.
