Groupon have issued a general email today, but it looks like I threw good money after bad at the moment...

From the email:

We have an important update for those of you who purchased the Heathrow Express Groupon. To enjoy this great value offer, please ensure you activate your code TODAY by logging on to http://www.heathrowexpress.com . Once your code/s has been activated, you will then have until the 20th of February 2011 to use it/them.

Your voucher for this deal has been emailed to you but due to rising Internet security standards, vouchers are sometimes flagged as spam. If a spam filter has prevented the email from coming through at all, please log on to our website. Once you have signed in to your account using you email and password, please click on the ‘My Orders’ tab in the ‘My Account’ section – you can then retrieve your codes and print the voucher by clicking on the 'Your voucher' link at the end of the line for the relevant voucher.

Once you have your codes, you can redeem the offer by activating the code.

To activate your Heathrow Express Groupon, please follow the simple steps below:

1. Log onto http://www.heathrowexpress.com

2. If you have a username and password, please use them to sign in. If not, you will need to create one to redeem this voucher.

3. Click on ‘book your tickets’ and select a direction of travel and date of travel (the direction is important, but the date isn’t)

4. Enter your promotion code

5. Follow the instruction that appears after entering the code, to receive your tickets - Your tickets will be emailed to you upon successful completion of the online booking procedure.

6. Board the train with a printout of the ticket showing the barcode – This ticket will be valid until February 20th 2011; you can travel on any day of your choice within the validity period, it need not be the date selected at the time of purchase which will be on the ticket.
