Saw this instore today at £59.99 and they had plenty. Available online too for the extra £4.95 delivery. This may be better value, although it's more expensive.

It's got an induction motor, which can put up with the demands placed on it. A lot of the cheaper pressure washers have motors that burn out after a while - often infuriatingly after the guarantee has run out:x

Karcher stuff is renowned for being robust and effective. I've got one meself and it really does the business.

There are a few other Karcher deals around so it's maybe a good idea to check them out:thumbsup:

Good point cheapskate on the Karcher deals and they are good units.

You won't find one at this price though with the same features. The RAC don't put their name onto products that are gonna cause customer grief. They depend on the brand name and can't afford for a dodgy rebadged product to screw up their reputation. I would expect this to be pretty solid. The original price for this in Woolworths was £120/ £130 so its not a cheap n nasty product.

I have one of these, it does the job and does it well, in my opinion.
I paid £78.00 for it last year.

How often would you need to refil it, tank / capacity looks small.

B&Q have the similarly specced Karcher 399 on special offer at the moment for about £84, for those people that prefer a brand leader.

It's not on the B&Q web site, so most likely only available instore.

spend a few more £ and buy a Karcher - at least you can get spares etc - I've had a Karcher for years and years with no problems - mates have had the Drapers, RAC, Woolies specials and gone through loads...

It aint worth that price tho its one of woolies clever marketing gimmics where they sell for full price for 28days so they can sell for half price

As with most pressure washers, this is just a pump - you connect it up to your hosepipe :)

That's the best time to buy when the hosepipe ban is on - picked up my pressure washer from Woolies last summer for less than 15 notes
(and to all those who said it wouldn't last, it's still going fine ;-) )

Deanos - that Karcher deal is a good one...

Anyone done a search for spares the the RAC - think you won't find em!

Just ordered the Karcher Deluxe Pressuer Washer K2.900M from Shop.com for 84.94 inc delivery, but if you use Discount code SHOP10 that will save you £5.09 plus another 6% if you go through Quidco.

For those in the know, would this http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-8152/btnResultSort.x%3d21/btnResultSort.y%3d8.aspx pressure washer (when in stock) be a better deal than the RAC one? I realise it's motor is slightly smaller etc but based on the reliability factor etc.

Now £59.99 ... for store collection :)

Trouble with Karchers is any add ons like brush heads etc cost a fortune where other makes have universal fittings.
