They make a good seat too

What i can't believe is that some like me who only has a solo card can't make any purchases from the Woolworths website as they don't accept it!!!
You would think that a big name like Woolworths, who accept the solo card instore, would make it as an acceptable form of purchase on their website:x

Handy and a good price, hot :w00t:

I note that it is steel, most of these are alloy to make them portable. I guess it will be heavy - but still a great price for DIY - not for the pro....

My girlfriend works a woolies and I get for £11.60 hehe, thanks.

Comes to £15.33 with cheapest delivery offer, so this deal is better if you dont mind picking up in store, or if you want it to be delivered the ebuyer deal is the one to go for.

I just checked Ebay out for the one i posted there is a couple of sellers selling them .One says its lightweight so i assume it is alloy . BTW they are selling them for alot more than Ebuyer lol. Search for Work Platform
#16
The ebuyer one is 11.73 kg, it tells you when checkign out. I can't be botherd to look around for a comparison on weight though - I'm sure someone will, though.
#17
Both have the same Load capacity of a 150kgs
#18
There are questions to the doubt of material used in this platform. allumimium or steel? READ the Woolworths ad and it say's STEEL PLATFORM.......i would guess that it is not as heavy as some people may think....a very handy workhorse around the home at a cheap price.

Thanks for this, just ordered for collection - HOT. Looks great for what we need to use it for. Will save having to move the ladder along every 60 secs. :). Got loads of decorating etc..to do this year...

i have the ebuyer one its the same as the woolworths one but in orange. and its steel it is heavy but its certainly strong also dont forget order over £49.99 and its free delivery from ebuyer so the woolworths one aint a great deal
#21
Judging by this one on Ebay that weighs just over 6kg the Ebuyer one i posted must be steel. i have a few for plastering and weight is a big factor to me but for normal Diy they will be fine.

I was in woolworths today and saw these - must say they didn't look that solid to me, the legs look like they could buckle easily under excess weight. There was a pack opened, and legs which fold out from the platform were already buckled.
If you've ordered, make sure you give yours a good check before standing on it.

My Ebuyer one arrived this morning. First impression they are DAMN heavy compared to the alloy ones (not too heavy but certainly noticable!). Seem reasonably made and easily took my 22st with minimal creaking:whistling: On the plus side they are about 9-12 inches longer than my alloy versions so less moving.
