Cheapest I've seen this for a brand new copy of Heavy Rain

In a city on the US east coast, sons are mysteriously going missing, only to be found 3 days later, drowned in rain water, with an origami figure on their chests...

The public is gripped by fear and paranoia.
The authorities seem no closer to a credible suspect.
And now another son has disappeared - Shaun Mars.

Amidst suspicion and anxiety, four people will follow their own leads in a desperate search for Shaun. They know what the cost will be if they don't reach him in time - but they don't yet know just how far they must be prepared to go...

Bloody typical, my 18 quid copy of White Knight was dispatched a mere 30 minutes after I placed the order this morning.

No sign of this 10% off code then was there, ohhhh no...
#2
The code still works OP.

is this game really worth £29 ? cos I would like to get it but still cant make my mind up

It is a truly brilliant game, very moving but it is more about the story than perhaps the game mechanics so unlike something like say Modern Warfare 2.

I purchased my used copy from PlayTrade (there is one there for £23.99 at the moment). Be warned though Playtrade are private sellers so there is an element of risk.

Yes, they fart in 1 in 4 jiffy-bags, it's part of the terms and conditions.

i sure i seen it cheaper b4, i paid top price on the day it came out, dont bother with the dlc its way 2 short and pointless and they wont be makin anymore

however i loved it and is easy up there for game of the year, best story in a very long time
#7
Suprised this hasn't got cheaper faster, been out a while!
#8
game of the year for me so far, in fact this game would prob make my top 10 ever. Loved every minute.
#9
I think this has got to be one of the best games i have ever played. Totally different than anything i have ever played before, and i loved every minute.
#10
i thought the demo was garbage and very slow moving. You seem to have to collect clues and find codes n stuff? great

yeah, it's a detective story, collecting clues and solving mysteries are kinda the whole point...

it's a very good game, with multiple possible endings depending on what choices you make during the game.

the controls are initially a bit unusual, tho i imagine the upcoming Move update will make it more user-friendly.

it's definitely worth a play through or two, but if the only thing that gets you going in games is lots of explosions and massive gunfights, i'd steer clear.

Paid £20 for this preowned on ebay about 3 days ago, still waiting on the guy to send it.

This is my Game of the Year so far! Simple as that.
#14
Was 20 quid in blockbuster a couple weeks back, pre owned of course, but that doesnt matter with ps3 games.
#15
I am still waiting for this to drop further, must be the only game that hasn't (well that I want)
#16
Amazing game, your choice will decide the fait for others around you
#17
wkd game very clever great story and graphics. little gem!
#18
Played it begining to end - awful, awful rubbish. Kudos to the developers for trying something different but it's not successful. Don't believe the hype.
#19
Great game if a little slow to get going but surprised its still this price. They are going to re-release it as a Playstation Move edition (which is also the reason theres been no DLC as they've been working on that instead) so might well drop in price when that happens.
#20
It's far to short to warrant a purchase. Rent from Blockbuster or Lovefilm/Boomerang, etc.

Your 1 person out of pretty much everyone else saying its brilliant. Every critic/review site and even almost all xbox 360 fans I know who have played it have said its one of the best games they played. Can you please tell me what this is based on, I got a feeling the VERY FEW people who hate this are around the age of 13-19 and are use to shooting people with grenade launchers, as fun as it is there is something called VARIETY.

Its not successful? lol you serious, its kept its value months and months later and its had really good sales and really good reviews. What the hell is success to you then lol

Your garbage Call of Duty is calling you.
Not every game has to be shooting people.

I have a disc only copy if anyones interested? £16 del
#24
really want to get into this game, but it has yet to draw me in
#25
With the Move edition coming out in October with extras, will this drop further in price?
Or will that fact this edition will work with the Move with a future patch will increase the price?

I presume you mean the discs are more durable than the DVD's that XBox 360 games come on? Regardless of the format, when you buy a pre-owned copy of a game from any high street store you invariably get someone else's pubes in the box...

Just posting this as a warning - it appears as though The Hut have upped the prices of items before putting them on sale - not saying they have on this deal, but it's worth reading that Trading Standards are intending to follow it up.
