Better off buying from Game, they will also dispatch today and offer 6% Quidco/Top Cash back.

Than risking your credit card details stolen.

You can pay by PayPal if you want to and Game can be a real pain in the **** to deal with sometimes.

I've never had any problem with Shopto at all. :)

What do you mean 'games like this'? There are very few titles of this nature.

there was obviously a hot deal on crystal balls that i missed, because ever other idiot has one these days...

unless "Call of Duty" is in the title, they all seem to lose value rapidly these days.

even Uncharted 2 was going for £20 in blockbuster a few weeks ago

October 09 and Uncharted 2 was only discounted once to £17.99 and sold out pretty sharpish.

And there is also relatively little demand for it. Don't get me wrong, it's still sell well, but it's one of those games that most people are either super hyped about and get it on day one, or they don't care about it at all. Because of this, the price will drop pretty quickly. It happens with almost all of the alternative games.

However, it is unlikely that it will ever get -really- cheap, like shooters/sports games from 5+ years ago are now. It will always hold some value.

Only reason I recon this will fall in price (at least 2nd hand) fairly quickly is that I doubt many people will play it twice, and from what I've gathered its not the sort of game you come back to and have a quick bash on every few months.

I know that you can keep coming back to it and replaying through all the scenarios but most people who have reviewed it so far have advised against doing that.

Like Metal Gear Solid, it's meant to be a one-off experience sort of thing.

I haven't had a dispatch notification for my copy from Very yet so if I wasn't going away this weekend then I would be ordering another one from shopto or somewhere right about now.

Yes - Metal Gear Solid is a good comparison, although having said that - I have played all but the 4th about 10 times each, as has a friend. This is because we are complete MGS nuts though. I am sure Heavy Rain will also have its fanatics, but the average player will only go through it once or twice (to understand it better), but probably no more than that. Hence the price will likely fall sooner than MW and games you can take online.
