April 09 would mean out of date
yea that means you can get absolutely wasted (need about 32 Heineken so 4 of these) then phone in sick to work and say "must have been a bad pint!"

edit - aha I see its export . 24 should suffice .
So what makes you think this is a hot deal?
I dont believe that Heineken Premium is available in 440m cans so a photo would be nice.
Probably very very wrong, but... I thought it was illegal to sell out of date goods! Not sure this is a deal????
It'll be a 'best before' rather than 'use by' date, so still legal to sell them (though they would probably have to mark them as 'out-of-date' on the shelf).
Shouldn't this be £1.49?
April 09 would mean out of date

How did you figure that out?
Kinda defeats the object of buying premium beer, if its out of date, and therefore not what you want. You may as well pick up generic 4 or 5% beer.

Or am I wrong? Won't this just be flat beer
Whilst I Agree that it is indeed 'loveley stuff'... I would not agree with anybody visiting a Home Bargains 'expecting' to pick this up! never seen this ale at this store before!

Hmm.. good luck!
Death Cab
How did you figure that out?

Because it's a date in the past.

You don't want to be drinking out of date beer, regardless of how inebriated you want to get.
This beer is proper sh**e

But the only reason beer has a best before date is, the brewers can only gaurentee the alcoholic volume up until that date, as it still ferments in the bottle or can, I had a bottle of hardys ale at xmas that was 26 years out of date and it tasted like sherry, and no ill effects!!

i posted this deal over 3 months ago so it wasn't out of date at the time
