Went to Morrisons for a browse and they had the Heinz Baked Beans (3 x 200g) multipack at half price.

These are the same size as the snack pots but work out cheaper.

I should add that the fridge pack contains 1kg and is also £1 but for those who live alone :(, this might work out better than trying to get through 1kg.

This works out to one and a half 400g tins for £1 ..... Worst "bargain" i've seen on here for quite a while.

What is difficult about using half a tin and keeping the other half in a container in the fridge?

Two normal tins for £1 in Home Bargains - 830g for the same price as this.

Very cold.

Ok....not all of us want to have that many beans or eat it the next day. This is a small portion, ideal for a quick snack with no wastage unless you are a student who doesn't mind beans every day for a week and doesn't want friends!

Considering these tins are sold at approx 50p each, it's a saving for some. I use them so it was a saving for me and some other lonely losers out there! :p

Why would you have to eat the other half the same day? Or the next day?

Beans will keep quite happily in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days or can be frozen for longer life.

RRP at £2 is a con as well. Just checked online and none of the main supermarkets are above £1.50 .... With Tesco at £1 as well.

Same price as Tesco. I'm the same, only myself eat beans in the family so its wasted if I get larger tins!
