  I understand people have a thing for Heinz products but there are much cheaper own-brand options available and they can be equally satisfying if cooked well (say slow, long, on the hob)

  This is a rediculose price when you compare other prices on this site i.e. 4X 415 gramm tins for £1.50 =1660 gramms = 90pence for 1kg and some offers are £1.50 for 6 tins in flashed packs. Just do the maths.

  4 x 410g tins of Branston Baked Beans for £1 at Asda. The BEST baked beans imho!! Works out cheaper than the Tesco deal.

  Branston beans are great-tasting & great value at Asda, I agree...& you don't have to eat them every day for a week!
