I find these really handy - and my OH takes them to work and leaves them in the fridge there sometimes for a warm lunch.

£1.78 each in Asda and Sainsburys

Baked beans in a deliciously rich tomato sauce. Once open stays fresh for 5 DAYS.

1 of your 5 a day when eaten as part of a balanced diet. Virtually fat free. Packed with fibre. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Gluten free. Suitable for vegetarians.

£1.89 for 2 pots seems a good deal.

Use the dots on a pizza as a mature cheese and you're sorted.

One of these tubs contains about 2.4 cans worth of beans ...For £1.89 at usual price. I know theyre less wasteful and more conveinient, but thats still far too expensive compared to the packs of cans in my opinion.

Good deal though. £1.89 for nearly five cans worth is a bit more like it.

About the same length of time as keeping unused beans in a Tupperware box in the fridge ;)

Has anyone noticed the smell from the jars when you open them from the fridge? It puts me off so I buy tins instead.
#18
What canned beans are you comparing them to Andy? Heinz is probably my favourite brand because they taste least watery and bland. Of course, you have to cook them first old bean. I probably leave mine on the hob longer than most because I really don't like watery beans.

FAB deal... shame the brand tastes cack.
