I take it this is to match Asda then?
#4
Either that or Asda beat Tesco to it. From working in a supermarket during my student days, the amount of espionage of special offers that goes on is ridiculous!
#5
Time to stock up on beans me thinks!H+R

Does no one else get bored with Tesco's always jumping on the "reduction" bandwagon?

I'f I go to Asda I'll spend £50/£60 If I go Tesco its always seems to be £60/£75 for same stuff?

If a company is going to cut the price of products - so we can get the said products for a cut price - then I don't see how you can bored of that? :)

Asda do offers, Tesco do offers, Morrisons do offers, Sainsburys do offers ... I wouldn't exactly call it jumping on a bandwagon.

Every supermarket does offers and promotions on a regular basis to undercut the competition. Some do it well and others just try and fail. I live close to 3 major supermarkets and whovever is selling the items I want cheaper or has the better bogof I go there. No point being loyal to one chain and collecting points. You miss out on variety and choice.

PS. Beans, hot dogs, ketchup... could this be a bonfire night grub special?

Well it's a hot deal IMHO. Good post, thanks!

HP beans are nasty and watery eugh :?
#16
I was always told ASDA would price match any food/grocery offer if you could provide proof.... never tried it personally myself though
#17
just home from Tesco in Norwich Harford and there was no mention of this offer, mind they did have some stupid POS about Ribena had a massive £1 sign under it but when u looked at the shelf edge it was for Tesco own brand juice. Ribena was however half price so good deal. Think this store was having a few probs today anyway.
