These are good beans though! Sweet chilli ones are particularly nice so voted hot (as the beans are too :?)

Can this site get back to actual bargains please?

Recently, most of what I'm seeing are people posting threads like these - at most you're probably saving like 50p or so. If everyone started posting saving on individual items like a single can of beans or boxes of cereal, then this forum would be over-run, and you'd lose sight of something actually worth while.

Speak for yourself.

While I think this is a particular NON-bargain, as Heinz are the worst brand of them all, I defend the poster to post these offers, as the difference in price of beans is something I am VERY interested in.

I buy a TV once in say 5 years, but I buy beans EVERY week... say about 8 cans! (Not often me eating them, but got a bean-addict in house) now examples of recent offers show me when say, Branston beans are 99p instead of 2 quid, that's a total of 2 quid a week it saves, and because these offers are very common, but move around, I stock up as appropriate, and if I get lucky to keep in stock enough, that could be 104 quid a year less I pay, as big a deal for me as say, a TV every 5 years with £520 saving!

I bet I am not the only one that sees it this way either.

I still see the good bigger bargains too, scanning these pages take very little time: a few minutes, that's all & it often saves me a lot - it probably earns me a better hourly income than I have ever earned, pity it is for only a few minutes!

Such as DVDs TVs and mobile phones? Aren't people free to choose for themselves what they consider a bargain, both as posters and readers? Perhaps you could lead by example and post some impressive deals?

Buy a scroll wheel mouse (when you see a HOT deal), and skip the offers you don't like :p

I agree a deal is a deal! HOT

I am new to this and am surprised at how negative and nasty some peoples comments are (I've looked at a lot of listings here) and why some people are judging others postings as if they are posted for them individually! I understood the concept was to share deals etc so people can 'cherry pick' what they are looking for?

A bit of constructive critism and being helpful would be far more appreciated, especially to us new guys...:whistling:

Unless you can advise where one can currently purchase the same product for less elsewhere, then it's a hot deal in my view. These tins are typically 52p each in many stores.

The only alternative I know is farmfoods who are selling these at the same price as the OP, so heat has been added

Damn Heinz & their 57 varietys to hell!!
Branston beans are far superior.....

If you have a Makro card these are currently £6.99 per case of 24 or £1.25 for a pack of 4.
