Stunning price thankyou!

I got 3 packs yesterday (all I could carry, walked there) went back this morning with shopping trolley, but all gone. Problem with them is there is probably only 6 packs in a delivered packing case to them.
The bargain of the year, especially when the smaller tins are on the same shelves at 2 tins for 99p.

Ooh great price! Does anyone know if there's a 99p store in the huddersfield area? :)

Try cracking an egg into it and letting it simmer with the lid on for a few minutes. Different variation of Eggs in Purgatory and a great hangover cure :D

I really hope you buyers are not giving this to your kids - poison yourselves with salt and other garbage if you like, but try home cooking for your children please ! :(

it sounds grim but it isn't as bad as it sounds - just pour a little of tomato soup over the chip, don't drown them in soup - add some tabasco for a slight kick - no worse than tomato sauce - then again I rarely eat chips, lol

Here we go....I knew it was only a matter of time before the diet police got on their high horse! :(

I vote this hot, hot, hot! I will give this to my kids as a quick standby lunch should I have forgotten to defrost my homemade soup :p

That's bloody good seeing as the cheapest on offer these days is 50p each at ASDA.

Good offer considering it's still cold out there and they sell anyway!

1/2 a tin has 1 of your 5 a day, around 2.5 teaspoons of sugar and around 1/3 a teaspoon of salt. Kids have such a high metabolism and a high rate of energy this translates to absolutely nothing and will be burnt off in no time if they are allowed to go outside/run about.

I have an idea... how about stop lecturing people on what to and what not to feed their kids...

Bad value. You can make your own tomato soup by boiling a bit of water and mixing it with ketchup. Even better, it'll cost you nothing as you can just swipe some ketchup sachet from Mcdonalds and Subway. Adds to the taste when you're sticking it to those tax dodging ****.

Totally agree. Maybe slightly more acceptable on a soft drink or a mars bar deal but tomato soup?! oO

So has anyone else found this in their 99p store? Ours is a bit off the beaten track and I'd rather not go for nothing

What I sometimes do is, get a tin of soup. Heat it up, poach an egg in it. Serve that with a pork pie sausage roll.

What, you mean there's a 99p store in a field, in the middle of nowhere? What's the point of that?

Here's a good one, heat up some tomato soup, poach an egg in it, finely grate some Gruyere cheese on the top. Serve with your food of choice - Bread/bread roll & butter, sausage roll, cheese & onion scone....... SORTED!

Heinz soups ,Branston beans,Bertolli spread, toilet rolls, coffe and cereals along with many other items all have their prices regularly manipulated by the supermarket cartels with each taking their turns to have so called OFFERS before they increase prices.
This must also be with government involvement and approval so that inflation figures can be FIDDLED and true inflation is hidden.

One of the most disgusting price increases are razor blades , a much needed item that is never taken into account when all these FICTITIOUS FIDDLED inflation figures are announced by our untrustworthy politicians that always seem to get elected over and over again.
