£3 for 4 tins of beans? Don't be ridiculous.
Seems expensive when the likes of Branstons are often available for 25p/tin.
deal, just average.
Yep. Just empty tinned beans into a cheap reusable plastic lidded container if you want to keep them for a few days. Or as I sometimes do, freeze them.

You should never do that. The open metal tin will breed bacteria much more than plastic.
That's why tins say always transfer to another non metal container if storing.

Metal has no affinity with bacteria. It makes no difference. There are plenty of myths around the storage of tins in the fridge, but the reality is they are internally coated/laquered, botulism free, and in the US as least, there has only been one case in 30 years of someone having a problem due to bad canning practices at the factory.
I'll carry on, I'm still alive and healthy ;)

Ok i was wrong about it being £3 but i wrong at the amount being 440grams too .. its 4x415 for £2.50 which is £1.51 per kg. or for £2.50 (for the same price as the 4x415grams) its 2.5kg :).
so yes it is good deal if you want to stock up :P

I do wish people wouldn't keep giving out incorrect facts on here. :(
