Tesco have dropped the price of 400g tins of Heinz Soups all flavours to just 50p were 89p. The best price it's been for a good few months. This is the standard red label tins

Reminded me to finish off the only soup flavour I like - oxtail. Still had 4 cans of Heinz oxtail in the cupboard - expiry 1/2015 (mainly because I'm addicted to Tesco's own brand beef ravioli instead :-) ). I always like to have a couple of unbuttered/uncut white bread rolls with soup - can dunk them in or use the rolls to soak up the last of the soup.

BTW, someone mentioned not liking Heinz tomato soup. I think *all* of Heinz' tomato-sauced products (beans, ravioli, spaghetti, soup etc.) are awful - the sauce is simply not nice to taste at all. As I said, Tesco's own brand beef ravioli (even dropped from 65p to 50p this year!) has by far the best tomato-based sauce I've ever tasted. Luckily, it's not a mega-popular product, so I can massively stock up on it because I fear at some point, they'll change the sauce taste and make it much worse.

Still 89p each at mine

Only tins of Heinz chicken and tins of Heinz mushroom soup were 50p when I went to the store today. All other Heinz flavours were 89p.

not had heinz soup since I discovered covent garden soup, although more expensive, well worth the extra money especially the chicken soup in covent garden soup there are big chunks of chicken in it compared to heinz chicken soup you get tiny scrappings of bits of chicken.

was that a Tesco express store?
Deal should be national as all online orders are picked from the shelves in local stores and the shelf price charged accordingly.
