For anyone glancing at this, like me, these are not the Professional 'S' knives but Henckels entry level range of knives (I know no one said they were but the picture looks like the Pro 'S' knives and I wasn't paying attention.) I would imagine these are good value for money though and probably as good if not better than a similar priced set of knives from the likes of Sabatier etc. Don't expect them to be as good as the £200 original price quoted on Amazon would suggest though...

I've got the Pro 'S' ones and although they cost a lot more, I have to say they are the best knives I've ever used, worth every penny.

Not good knives, you could never part me with my Sabatier's.

Cold, sorry.

gonna order a set for a family member, I have a few of the professional "s" and 4 star knives and they are the best i've ever owned even though they cost alot more.

They can't be that sharp then! ;-)

If you look at the logo, there's only one little man which means it's the lower grade than the proper ones, normally the logo is two little man side by side, but still for that price, is very good. They are the best knife you can ever have!

So whats the best chefs knife at the moment gang without going into silly money ie £60 and down? Also good deal I think, true you wont need half of those knifes, but for £50 looks ok to get you up and running :-) I wish they'd either ban these block boards though or at least hollow the bottom out, they are a hive for full on germs and you cant really get in there to clean them out. Anyhoots have some heat :-)
