HOT, looks a good buy

How do you get this price? It's showing as £99.99 at their website and 15% off is £84.99. Maybe there was a lower price on the leaflet you saw. :?

I doubt it, don't most argos/homebase vouchers state they cannot be used on discount days?
Nice find by the way:thumbsup:

Is this taken in a Homebase store?

If that is the case it would imply that they are currently avaliable at the lower price now?
#11
They are £84.99 in store currently, however this weekend you get a further 15% off taking it down to the price on this thread.

So if you want to pay £84.99 then yes you can pick one up today.

Thanks for adding the pic Den

These are great hoovers, we have one and would never go back to a dyson etc, totally recommended.

Great Find!
#16
Hi
Looking for a hoover as our VAX is broken, how does this compare to the VAX (which i hated as it was so noisy and heavy!)
#17
i need a new vacuum - are henry's good? I may get this or get a vax one
#18
Got one to replace the Dyson, I got fed up with unblocking it!

It is very good, the eco mode is useful and I would recommend anyone at this price.

Hot.
#19
Any link to the advert at all. I bought a henry from Comet just under 2 weeks ago. They would need to price match me this Friday as that would be the 14 days. Need to find it before then

These are really good, they beat the likes of Dyson and VAX hands down IMO.
#21
Good deal, think im gonna get one of these and chuck out the Dyson. Had it for years now and the missus is giving me jib to get a new hoover.

Whats the difference between them, other than the colour? Got two daughters so reckon they would love Hetty more.
#22
We have a hetty and much better than a dyson

heat added
#23
i have a henry and i LOVE him lol we have had so many hoovers and these beat them all i would recommend henrys // hettys to anybody
#24
You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but what is so good about these vacuum cleaners? I remember them when I was a kid, but they have never changed visually. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying they are bad, I'm just curious what makes them so good.

Nice price hotted hot as a deal.

they work, good suction

I know that Dyson's have come under a bit of stick in this thread, but I've never had a problem with them. Is the suction comparable to that of a Dyson. I'm probably due to replace my old Dyson DC04 (after about 8 years), and this would be a significant saving, if worthy.
#26
had a henry for ages, built to last and never gone wrong, only down side is that you have to purchase bags, but these are dirty cheap on places like ebay
#27
please can someone tell me the difference between henry & hetty? thanks x
#28
one is pink and one is red! identical otherwise :)
#29
There is no difference between them, just one is red, one is pink.

I have the Hetty, it replaced my Dyson DC11 which I had for almost 5 years. In comparsion terms I loved my dyson but in the end the suction let it down. I've been very impressed with the Hetty since I bought it, good suction, good selection of tools, and a whoooooole lot cleaner and hygenic to empty than the dyson, you just pop off the bag, throw in the bin and then put another on, no problems, and not a speck of dust to see. Huge difference to the mess I used to end up in emptying out my dyson in this windy place that I live!!!

On the whole, I saved myself about £150 by replacing my dyson with a hetty, and I'm so glad I did!

These are NOT HOOVERS , they are "vacuum cleaners"........... a Hoover is a brand name for a vacuum cleaner

its like calling all cars a Ford.
#31
do u have to use bags though? I dont want that expense?

10 bags for a fiver on ebay
9 litres each
90 litres of dust for a fiver, that will last ages!!

You can buy a cloth bag as an optional extra and re-use as many times as you like.

HOT, I have been looking for a new vac at the weekend, the cheapest Henry I've found at c. £89, at £72 it's a steal. Add an airobrush for c. £29 incl delivery, so for c. £101 you get a Henry Extra!

Like it or not, it's made it into the dictionary now. Hoover is every bit as valid as vacuum cleaner.

On topic. Hot deal, will certainly have a look on the weekend as I need a slightly more heavy duty hoover. :)
#35
It's a really good hoover. I also have a really good ipod and I used to own a lovely Walkman.:whistling:

Sucks better than $20 hooker!

We have an old one but don't worry about using bags, just let it collect in the bottom bit and whe its time to empty, put the entire vacuum in the bag and take the lid of.
#38
My Dyson is now 7 years old but since the first 5 years of that I was a single man who hoovered once in a blue moon it was pretty much like brand new when the wife got her hands on it.....now the suck seems to have gone from both of them........:p

Gonna pick one up at the weekend hopefully if theres any left.
#39
Are these not designed more for an industrial environment, rather than home use ? eg... how would Henry fair over a fine axminster as apposed to a more traditional upright ?
#40
Im thinking of getting this one the weekend will I need a voucher to get 15% off? or is just 15% without me having a voucher on me??
