Henry pop up car bin.

If your kids like mine are always handing you banana skins on long journey and you end up with a footwell full of rubbish this is the thing.

Seems to be at least £8 elsewhere

I'd rather pick up a discarded banana skin out of the footwell than try to scrape it off the bottom of Henry.

Ordered. Mainly out of intrigue. It'll probably end up getting used by the kids to store toys.

Id rather tip everything out of henry into the bin when I get home rather than picking up banana skins from the car.

If you had any experience of these you'd understand what I mean.

I know what you mean, there's been so many times I've been out on my bike and had to swerve to avoid bottles and crisp wrappers. Hitting a coke bottle at 70mph on a motorway on two wheels is not a pleasant experience!

Er, yeah, very good point. Why is it a Henry and not a spongebob or something?

I have often pondered the moral dilemma of throwing banana skins/apple cores etc out of vehicle windows. If this type of food waste is thrown into vegetation then it is logical that it will biodegrade and therefore environmentally sound.

Roads, pavements and urban areas are obviously a no-no. I guess it all depends on your aim!
Thinking it over again now.........you can never be sure it will go where you want it. So that in itself defeats my proposal!

Anyway, it can make a terrible mess if you hit the door frame ;)

My little boy's called Henry so ordered for his room.

The material of this looks like it will get dirty from rubbish such as banana peels - not exactly a decent shape for the car or anything either, what a 'rubbish' product

Apparently it takes months for objects like apple cores & banana skins to degrade, so throwing them out the window, even in the countryside is not a good idea.

Reading that back I sound really serious, like the litter-police or something. Sorry about that.

If you make sure you chuck your burger boxes and the like into someone's garden they'll usually pick them up and put them in their wheelie bin.

Small animals and birds will feed on apple cores if thrown into an appropriate area i.e. a field, countryside etc. Not sure if a banana skin would interest them though.

Valid point-well said, but it is a real shame there are some who lack respect and don't give a S@@T where they drop rubbish,or about the country trust me, i've seem some classics of rubbish drop/dump villains (what do I sound like?) hehehehe

Pigeons often tuck in to the kebabs I drop in the High Street

Banana skins are no problem if you live near a zoo - fences are often quite high so your throw needs to be good . . .

The carrier bag from the petrol station full of sweety top-ups is free :P

At least this works better than a real Henry: the stuff that gets into it stays there rather than being blown round the room...
