Depends on what your take is on whether a hoover can be a henry or a henry can be a hoover or whether a hoover is just a hoover or if it can also be a vacuum cleaner.........:D

No it's not!

A vacuum is "a space entirely devoid of matter".

This thing is a machine - a vacuum cleaner.

The essential question is: Does it "hoover"? Or does it simply "vacuum clean"?

Ah, but does a Henry hoover? Or does a Hoover henry?

A hoovering Henry would be worth adding heat. But I would vote "cold" if it was a Hoover that henried.

We need to know the facts before voting.

expensive deal on here other day for well under this
#18
spot on cleaner!!! i bought one the other week from homebase for £79. 99. everywhere else priced them at £100 +. the noise level on it is low but the suction is strong with two speeds. not lost suction since i bought it and can be used with hepa filter bags (5 free) or just with the built in filter voted hot

edit...just checked my model number and it is the HRV200A.......don't think there should be any difference between them tho?

. . . best hoover going . .

Strictly speaking, of course, this is not a Hoover.

A Hoover is a particular make of vacuum cleaner.

This is a Henry. It is not a Hoover.

I am not sure if many people on this site realise that . . . :)

sucks better than a $50 hooker

Does this vacuum need a bag or is it bagless? :/

This is not a vacuum....

As previously mentioned in this thread a vacuum is:

A vacuum is "a space entirely devoid of matter". :p

If you mean does Henry need a bag, then yes it works best with a bag. I have used one at work without one and it makes a bit of a mess with flying dust.

Hope this helps if you decide to get yourself a Henry....

Hot! £33 quid cheaper than my local shop!

I have all wooden/laminate flooring and my Henry is brilliant. Don't think I would ever buy any other hoover now.

It can't be a vacuum cleaner if a vacuum is entirely devoid of matter as there is nothing to clean.

Henry sucks anything he is put on. :)

Woot! Just ordered one. Was annoyed at missing the homebase deal (which this beats anyway!), and had no delusions of actually finding one half price in sainsburys :)
#32

Better price yes, but not better as in thorough and versatile for general house and car cleaning.
#35
I checked the price in Sainsburys and realised it was a mistake. But as Henry is so brilliant - I want one again (don't care if it is a hoover or vaacum cleaner). I was going to see if Tesco does double up again for electrical goods. Anyone know if they previously included Henry's?
#36
Ignoring all the pointless semantic bickering, this seems pretty good.

We have a Dyson at the mo and it is beginning to annoy me, lost loads ofsuction despite regular clearing of all the filters ... may wellswitch to the Henry instead!

that's exactly what my question was for. I need good performance, happy to pay a premium if that's what it takes.

So what is it exactly that the Dyson is better at?
