Next best is £13.41 at Base.

The second season begins four months after the events of Kirby Plaza. Peter Petrelli, Matt Parkman, Nathan Petrelli, and Sylar have all survived the events of the season one finale, and are trying to return to ordinary lives despite their extraordinary abilities, with the exception of Sylar, who is on a quest to regain the use of his abilities.

The main plot arc of "Generations" deals with the Company and its research on the Shanti virus. This research is explored through the Company's founders, whose identities are revealed, as well as through the effects of various strains of the virus on The Haitian, Niki Sanders, Sylar, and others. An amnesiac Peter Petrelli observes the potential devastation of the virus in a future New York City. The "heroes" ultimately come together in an attempt to stop the release of a deadly strain of the virus and avert a global pandemic.

Season two was crap and ended early because of the writers' strike. Even the exec producer felt the scripts and storyline were not up to scratch.

Season 3 was worse - I watched 2 episodes and decided that it was a dead duck.

Season 1 was really well done tho. Worth watching that one.

I heard that Heroes and FlashForward are going to be scrapped due to low ratings? Heroes carried on for too long, but FlashForward seems good !

Great price.

So...Heroes to finish after 4 seasons. What the heck happened there? Remember Season 1? Stunning, original, unmissable. Maybe that's where it should have ended?

Surely not every programme SHOULD by default get a second season when the original is popular. There are a lot of great films out there that never got a sequel. The story had been told...no sense in a sequel.

I think they should have taken the idea in a totally different direction myself....Heroes in space? Heroes become time police....errr or something.

Good price for this but I like to pretend that the first season was the only one they made.
Definately gets worse the more they stretched this one out I reckon.

Chuck on the other hand just get better and better....

Yep, both have been cancelled. But Heroes still used to get ~5 million viewers per episode in America. If it was on another network such as CW (which has still got Supernatural and Smallville, which both get less than 5 mil per episode), they would have kept it on. But because the first season got 14 million viewers per episode, I guess they just thought it was too much of a drop.

The really should have kept it more like the first series, since 2 it had been going downhill, and season 4's story just ended in such a stupid way.

The latest season was OK but it just went on and on and on. I found myself wondering why I was supposed to care about any of them. They should have kept every following season shorter, twelve-parters maybe like Dexter instead of 25-parters.

I wouldn't buy season 2, its a pointless watch because the story never goes anywhere and is pretty much forgotten about in 3 & 4.

Used to love heroes but it couldn't hold my attention, i found it way to boring. If a fifth season was made then i wouldn't waste my time watching it, so i'm glad they cancelled it.

They should have focussed on a smaller number of heroes with a limited set of skills rather than inventing a new character whenever they need a new power to fill a plot hole.

Cheap though so hot from me.

Gutted... I've spent the last couple of weeks watching Season 1 and finished it the other day, excitedly looking forward to Season 2 (I bought the twin box set last year). Won't rush to watch it now then. Might start watching Lost again, only got up to the 3rd series of that!

season 1 was amazing, i mean AMAZING, season 2, i mean i watched it didnt enjoy it as much but just becuase i was still on high of season 1 i managed it, season 3 and 4......it got unbearable

but tbh season 2 is worth buying if you really enjoy heroes, heat added

Season 2 is only worth it for the hot irish girl with Peter for a few episodes...

Its pretty poor that the network couldnt sustain the quality of Season 1, even after the mistakes learnt in 2 and then a broken promise of better quality storyline and twists in 3, the 4th is utter horse manure.

If you've seen and loved Season 1, leave it there, Season 2 is a floppyedy flop.
#15
I lost interest when they started re-setting powers.

Season 2... the season I gave up on this. :D

A zillion different characters, yet no discernible storyline. No thanks.

i cant believe heroes is ending after the massive cliffhanger on series 4, lost has been on for 9 freaking series and thats much worse than Heroes. RIP Heroes.

Lost has been on for 6 n is far superior to heroes, and i am a fan or heroes, it just got silly after series one where the started altering people n every body was getting new powers...as soon as they started using claires blood to heal everybidy, they dropped the ball big time....ensue plot hole after plot hole, where powers are created to fill gaps...this series could have been one of the greatest of all time...RIP heroes, u were a victim of the writers strike

Cheers for the heads up!

heroes lost a lot of steam after the first season. Good price though!

Season 2 of Heroes was very effective in completely killing this show. It was one of the biggest fall from graces I have ever seen. Slight recovery in season 3, a bit better in season 4, but really - season 2 ended it. Glad it got cancelled now, it was becoming a struggle to watch to be honest. Liked the open ending, I don't see it as a cliffhanger, I see it as the viewer making their own mind up to what will happen now. Talk of a TV movie, but it's really not needed - or wanted.

It's not the network's fault, it's the producing team's fault. Didn't help that every series their powers would reset, and the fact that Peter, who had the best power, was stripped of them. That really ****** me off.
