Never heard of FOPP but good price all the same

spud, FOPP are now an independent part of the HMV Group. They used to have over 100 stores until they went bust a few years back. Subsequently bought by HMV but only have about 8 stores now if my memory serves me right!

Meh, better off just buying the 1st season and leave it at that, the other 3 are utter garbage.

This was one of those shows that started off really well, but became awful by the middle of the first season.

Saw this in HMV for £39 the other day. Not sure about the other stores but they've got a few in the Cardiff, Queen Street one. Will take a picture for proof soon. Got it all on blu-ray anyway! :D

That makes sense ryanellis79, as they are owned by HMV.

Just checked this out on the HMV website, quite a difference in price as they are charging £68.99. Wonder if you possibly saw the season 4 box set which retails for about £34?

Here's the link to the complete series on HMV for proof that it is way more expensive

I saw the complete boxset in HMV at this price too. Still too expensive to warrant buying IMO, given that it is quite patchy.

what a pointless buy , they tried to leave season 4 on a cliff hanger , then they go and axe the show , so theres no real difinitive end to it , your just left wanting more !!!!!!!!!!!
#14
Just watch the first season and then stop. For some reason I stuck with it till the end and I can promise you that it's not worth it. I wouldn't say that 2, 3 & 4 are utter garbage, but they're certainly not worth your time.

bit harsh the first season was good but after that I agree, apparantly they are supposedly doing a few extra eps to finish it off for the people saying it ended on a cliffhanger, probably akin to prison breaks 'the final break'

for a more annoying finale see flashforward - canned within 1 series - with lost like questions galore
#16
Yet to see 4 and annoyed to hear there is a cliffhanger. Loved the fact that the reviews of series 2 and 3 were by critics that never saw the first series and bemoan them for the same qualities that the first one had anyway. Odd that so many were shepherded into the same way of thinking. Re-watched 1-3 recently and they are great viewing, look forward to the 4th when I get around to it.

Deserves voting down because it includes season 4 :D

This will be £34.97 in Amazon's Black Friday Lightning sale today at 8pm

(Blu-Ray is also be there for £55.97)

Might help but you do need to be quick on the draw to get these offers when they appear (i.e. 1 second and sold out)

I managed to get both in my basket of amazon...

which do I choose... Blue Ray or DVD???

This is a good price for Heroes fans, a very good price, believe it or not I found the 1st season a little bit dull towards the latter part and could see the problems already, Hiro was a good character until eventually he grated and he seemed retarded, Claire bennett and her family were the most interesting but the other characters were so devoid of character it was unbelievable
