We had Hershey's when we went to the US last year, still to this day and probably for ever more it will be known as cheese chocolate. Good price, especially if you like you like to eat chocolate and cheese....at the same time. :)

Oh Hersheys!
Not nice at all. It is gritty and horrible tasting.
#3
So bitter, tastes horrible
#4
Hersheys taste nice........compared to what exactly?

errrrrrrggggghhhhhhhh voting hot for price as it is a deal, but bloomin awful chocolate.
#6
tasted these for the 1st time in the US - never again as they taste like c***p
#7
They taste like vomit in your mouth waiting to come out.
#8
It'll be interesting to see how these go down here. Tried Hersheys in the US, and agree with the others here - they taste disgusting. http://planetsmilies.net/vomit-smiley-31.gif
#9
- to be honest i've voted cold, because i think any price for Hersheys is too high. A bar of cooking chocolate is less likely to make you vomit...
#10
lol, since when could the Septics make chocolate!
#11
I adore the Reeses Pieces - not the hersheys but the reeses are also on offer heat added
#12
i like it, thanks! hope they have cookies n cream again
#13
I love Hersheys. Now if only they would start selling Twinkies too...
suspended#14
I like them, hot

Which Aldi was this buddy, seeing as your quite local might actually be able to pick some of these up :)

Only fat and ugly people addicted to fast food (or Americans) can stomach this crap IMO.

My parents brought me a couple of bags back from the states a few years back.

A month or so after their return my bedroom was infested with hundreds of strange tiny black beetles, crawling all over my bed and through my clothes. Hadn't seen anything like them before, and couldn't work out how they were getting into my room.

Eventually discovered they had chewed OUT of an unopened bag of Hersheys kisses. The stuff must have had eggs in it, and they had turned the bag of chocolates into their nest.

Sort of put me off Hersheys a little...

I guess it is all down to a matter of 'taste'. But generally the U.S pallette is very different from Europeans. The American store we used to use also sold Galaxy and Terrys chocolate and we couldn't understand why it tasted soooo bad. It is actually made under license in New Jersey to American spec. - veeeery sweet and fatty. Our dentist also advised us not to buy the US CapriSun drinks for the same reason - waaaay more sweeteners and sugars than the stuff made for the European market

Try Zero bars they're excellent!

I heard about Hershey's in films and TV and had a romantic vision... but when I tasted it I threw the bar away after one bite. Really sweet and sickly, like that stuff that you used to get called 'chocolate flavoured candy'.

I think Cadbury dairy milk is too sweet but can still eat it - Hershey's takes this to another level.

Hershey's is to chocolate is what Sunny Delight is to orange juice.

Its a lot more to do with Britain having a very different pallet to the rest of the world when it comes to chocolate.

Our 'chocolate' is very sweet and high in sugar. Proper high quality chocolate is much more bitter than what we are used to.

Our chocolate isnt even allowed to be marketed as chocolate in some places.

I love the taste of Hersheys chocolate, unfortunately you can usually onlt get the cookies n cream bars from odd places. Nice to find the normal stuff somewhere.

I'd go along with that, absolutely, but Hersheys takes 'chocolate' to an all-time low. Europeans regard British 'chocolate' as rubbish - God knows what they'd make of Hersheys.

I and other members of my family went to america last year, tried a hershey from wal-mart, couldn't stop laughing for several minutes.
It seriously tastes like baby sick smells. Got the rest of the family to try it.
All the adults wet themselves laughing at the awefull sicky taste but the kids seemed to like it.

Go figure.

It is called "Family" Milk chocolate due to the use of vegetable fat in it. European milk chocolate uses cocoa butter instead. Apparently Cadbury thinks we Brits like ours better with veg fat in it.

Hershey's milk chocolate, however, is another 10 levels below that in terms of taste and texture. The dark choc variety is actually quite good as is some of their filled bars.

"Can not wait for this, man these are so nice, gonna pick up loads to have a huge feast lol".

Lol I said this because little 6 year old cousin liked them, I have never had these before, and now reading all your guys comments I dont think I am going to pick up any at all.

I never knew people hated these things. lol

Anyway but in terms of people voting cold is it not about price? Also added that not many places sell this in the UK. So consider this. I know everyones got different tastes and thats fine in all giving your opinion about the chocolate, you can do that thats fine but remember its about the price. You can still vote cold not a problem but consider that fact that not many places sell this and about price please.

Thanks, I dont think I want to get any now after reading all the comment especially after this one:

"baby sick smell" ----- dont know how any one can taste and experience that lol.
