Hetty is £79 in Homebase..........this "£30 off" voucher can be applied to anything in the OVERPRICED littlewoods catalogue ....if anyone wants to become a customer...so not really a very moneysaving deal....cold
MINUS THE QUIDCO.........which doesnt really count as its not money off its money to come...your using £30 voucher to save a tenner....waste of time really
#4
I used this promo deal this time last yr on a nintendo ds lite with game bundle and it was the best deal around at the time (78.99) as they were selling for that price second hand on ebay! its a good deal if you use it for the right product.

But...she's so damned attractive!

Thanks dealers!!
#8
Why didn't you buy one then?
#9

i voted it cold because the same item is on sale for £70 odd pounds ...so the voucher is really just compensating for littlewoods over inflated prices...your really only saving about a tenner....and becoming a new customer....dont get me wrong have used these vouchers myself ..but on sale items.....or on items that are not over priced in the first place.....also its for NEW CUSTOMERS signing up to littlewoods so can be applied to anything...there could be thousands of deals using that.

Well if it works out the same price thats fine, you also get the chance to pay for it over several months interest free.

If you find the right product the £30 voucher is a great deal

I bought with a £30 off code, whats the problem? Hot surely?
#16
I dont get what the problem is?

Why buy Hetty for £79 at comet, homebase etc when i can buy it for £61 by using the £30 of voucher & Quidco.

Can you find Hetty anywhere for £61 ?? <--- No so surely this is a good deal? Voting cold just because you dont like Littlewoods is a bit harsh... at the end of the day i got a Hetty hoover for cheaper than i have seen anywhere else!

I think there is a few problems personally.

Firstly this deal is likely if at all to get limited heat as its EXCLUSIVE to new customers only.

Secondly, I am aware that people can create new accounts using the same address at Littlewoods, but from past postings on Littlewoods deals on here people have had their 30 quid REVOKED under Littlewoods terms and conditions after initially being accepted and then finding Littlewoods then charge the full amount,,thats the main problem.

Thirdly, Hetty is not a hoover, she is a vacuum cleaner made by Numatic, only Hoover manufacture Hoovers.

its not £61 using the voucher ...the OP stated that it was £69...the figure of £61 is after cashback from quidco....

Ok firstly in my post i stated :

Hetty Hoover - £99 & Free Del
Use Code - ZG392 to get £30 off = £69
(You need to be a new customer for this code to work)
8% Quidco - £7.52 = £61.02

So as you can see i did state that including quidco it brings it to £61. You should try reading properly next time

Secondly.... I know Hetty is a vacuum cleaner, i also call vacuum cleaners hoovers (where im from a vacuum cleaner and a hoover is the same thing) I was not referring to the brand "Hoover" - I think everyone else knew what i meant!

Thirdly.... If you have been looking to buy this and your not a customer with littlewoods already then this is a fab deal. Sorry if its exclusive to new customers - How about opening one in your partners name or using a relatives address - there are ways round it. But for people like me who arent littlewoods customers then this is a bargain :-D

Fourthly... Why cant people just vote hot or cold and stop leaving stupid comments.. your so desperate to pick apart peoples posts - its pathetic. This is supposed to be a friendly site where we can give each other a heads up on a good deal. If you dont like the deal then vote cold but dont be an **** about it !

You ask what the problems are with your post, then get a reply and then get all irrate about it!

As stated, many, many, many times on this forum, Littlewoods voucher deals have been revoked for utilising the same address, it may go through initially, but they revoke it and within their terms and conditions can still take the FULL amount for the item.

No one on here lists prices minus the Quidco amount, you should have just left it at 69.99 + 8% Quidco.

Ok i asked what the problem but didnt expect a full paragraph on what i've done wrong.

As i have said i already stated in the original post that this included the Quidco amount - Everyone can read that and understand what i meant. I was not aware that no one else lists prices minus the Quidco amount. Even if i did list it as £69.99 + 8% Quidco this is still the cheapest i have seen anywhere, so whats the issue?

And as for the littlewoods voucher deals being revoked - Im not aware of this and my order has gone through fine. You dont know if you dont try.

Once again i'll repeat for people who dont already have a Littlewoods account then this is a bargain, I have never seen Hetty Hoover (Ooooh sorry ......Vacuum!) for this price anywhere else and i have been after one for a while.

At the end of the day i ended up with a bargain, i was able to use the voucher without any problems and yes i got 8% Quidco - i just thought i'd share this deal as i think its bloody good! If you dont like it then fine vote cold but dont start slating the deal and the company.

I think your attitude personally sucks, take a look at ANY new customer deal from Littlewoods from past history on this site and I think you will find the majority are negative heat. Also if you take a look at other deals posted they do not include Quidco deduction as standard, its pretty much standard practice not to, otherwise it can appear misleading.

So if thats deemed as slating the company, I am far from the only one that has, as far as slating the deal is concerned, well you asked! I answered personally what I think was wrong with it without any "attitude".

Its not a matter of you don't know unless you try, read other Littlewoods "new customer" deals on here, repeat offenders have tried and AUTOMATICALLY had the money taken from their card. Thats why so many people vote negatively on Littlewoods deals.

Sorry for answering in paragraphs what was wrong with your deal, you did ask. I suggest you take your dummy out the dirt and start posting other deals of merit

I posted a deal on here - Thats what the site is about. I dont read through every single post and keep up to date with what people have said about Littlewoods deals in the past.... I dont care that people are voting cold - i care about people writing negative comments and to be honest i thought you were the one with the attitude telling me that Hetty is not a 'Hoover' its a Vacuum ! Whats that all about...... I didnt want an explanation why it was being voted cold i just wanted an explanation as to why you were picking my post to bits. And as for the Quidco thing get over it... others understood what i meant. My Hetty is coming tmw and thats all im bothered about.. hopefully by posting this some other people might have been able to get a Hetty too for a good price, if not then whatever..... I've got mine.

Would have helped if you would have asked this directly then wouldn't it, instead of a generalised "what the problem is" to the 101% worth.

Its nothing personal, don't take it like it is, Hetty is not a hoover, because its not a hoover, only hoover make hoover plain and simple, its not associated with the hoover brand so don't make it appear like it is for starters.

As for Littlewoods, its been heavily posted on here and over on MoneysavingsExpert about people having codes revoked if they have not received them personally, with Littlewoods initially accepting the code then retrieving the money directly from your bank account at a later date. This is a concern a lot of people have had with Littlewoods and why they are voted cold, because people are naturally cautious.

I am glad you are happy with your Hetty Vaccum Cleaner, and feel like you have had a good deal, and I also hope that if you are not a genuine new customer with Littlewoods you don't get stung by them. But to get irrate over one of many, many Littlewoods deals on here that have been voted cold is unncesseray when you have asked why.

As i have explained i was not trying to make Hetty appear that she is made by the brand Hoover,. how many times do i have to explain i call vacuum cleaners hoovers!

are you touchy because this went a bit cold??.FYI i was stating the OP about quidco for another comment on this...obviously your now aware you cannot include quidco in the total price.......i did read your post properly...was so flabbergasted you would waste a £30 off voucher to save a tenner...try reading through before you take offence because i thought it was a cold deal....also i wouldnt encourage people to set up fake littlewoods accounts,as you did...

As i have said im not bothered if people vote cold - Maybe there is a few people out there who saw this as a good deal.

I didnt set up a fake littlewoods account, but i did say that if you already have one im sure there are ways to set up a new one - Obviously you have read previous posts where people have ended up being charged the full price etc. - I havent read these posts so was not aware of this.

And as for wasting a £30 voucher to save £10 - Why would i go and buy this from a store for £79 when i can use my littlewoods account & use a £30 off voucher & use Quidco and get one for £61 ?? Maybe saving £18 is nothing to you but im happy with the bargain i got so thats all that matters.

This is a hot deal.

Several people in the past have had discount codes rejected because they were not new littlewoods customers. This is really down to littlewoods.

I, on the other hand am a new customer and was able to get Hetty for this great price.
Any littlewoods group of company's deals get the same treatment voted = cold.
