Take one very ordinary vacuum cleaner, make it in hideous pink, add a silly face, charge a fortune. Job done!

I have to disagree. I have had loads of expensive vacume cleaners and they were all crap. I bought a Henry (I'd always wanted one from a little girl) and it is brilliant. It has lasted 4 years so far and is still going strong, still sucks as if it were brand new, it is robust and well worth the money I paid which incidentally was a fraction of the price of some cleaners at about £100.

I'm just gutted I didn't get the pink one although in hindsite my OH would refuse point blank to hoover with a pink one. He doesn't mind the smilie face tho :-D!

£79 is a good price IMHO!

Have always wanted one of these and now looks like the perfect time & price for me to get one thanks op heat & rep added

I have to agree - it doesn't matter if it's Henry or Hetty, they are the same product just different colours.

The difference is that Numatic are one of the only companies to produce a commercial machine that is exactly the same as the consumer machine (just aesthetic differences). The only other company is Sebo and I wouldn't trade either machine for anything else.

I am sure i read on here that the bags for these hoovers are on offer at Tesco on-line and can be used to get free p&p from Tesco.

I may go to Homebase as my OH really wants a Henry (but he will have to make do with a Hetty), thanks for posting this deal.

Completely disagree.

1. £79 is not a 'fortune' for a vacuum cleaner.
2. These vac's are fantastic, I've had a Dyson etc. and would have a Numatic every time. They last for years, are very robust and do a fantastic job.
3. If you don't like pink, they come in red too;-)

ETA - I can recommend these bags

NHS employees get 15% off at Homebase today so even better for those in the health profession. Maybe the Hospitals could get some and use them to help clean up the wards.

had my hendry for 8 years still going storng!

Don't B & Q have a Price Promise where they will match the price of a competitor & also take off an additional 10%? if so check your local b&q and get it cheaper

Bought one of these for my teenage daughter and now she does our cleaning! - Result!
Plus this actually cleans better than our Dyson DC07. Remember they can do wet&dry...

They have been this price on / off for the past 12 months, I was lucky to catch a day with an additional 15% off so paid less than £70 for mine (Henry).

As for the bags they last ages, use ours everyday and we have a fairly large house with 2 dogs and a cat.
The machine comes with 5 bags but if you need genuine replacements (Hepaflo) 10 can be had for less than £5 delivered on the bay or 20 for around £8.

Got one of these a while ago and it is not the best on carpet but the muts nuts if you have alot of hard floors. I have had alot of the major brand bagless vacuum cleaners (wife cleans the stairs with the cleaner at the top and wonders why it hits her when she is at the bottom) and this is the best

I guess I'm in a minority of one then.
Never seen so many people excited by a vacuum cleaner before!
