Anyone know if these are any good?? Been a few negative comments on the site about the quality of the inexpensive solar lights.

Should be called Solar Glows really.

Best to say, if it's pitch dark you can see where they are, and that's all!

like Jerry said...99% of them don't really give off more than a glow. Few more to choose from here http://www.robertdyas.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=91&catalogId=311&categoryId=10397&parent_category_rn=10387&top_category_rn=10351&top=Y&showSubCategory=yes ...as posted earlier in the year

I got a couple of superb colour changing solar lights for £5.99 each from my local Total petrol station (apparently it's a nationwide offer). RRP is allegedly £12.99. Made to look like lava lamps, hard to describe but can be seen here (they are asking £14.99 each!):

The wife loves them (not the normal reaction to one of my impulse buy gadgets, I have to say!)

Bought a couple from wilkinsons and bought some from the pound store which where £3 cheaper...the ones from the pound store are twice as bright as the others! luck of the draw i think,
