I don't see the point in buying these things. Your headphones are about the most important part of your music player, so where's the sense in paying less for your earphones than you would for a few songs?

looks like its gone !!! :(

In line volume control and 2.7m cord length.Very good.
Going to order a pair at this price for basic TV/PC listening.
Heat added.

I'm not really sure why items like this exist in the UK. OK, so somebody who doesn't really care too much about quality gets some really cheap cans, but after some poor sods have manufactured them, and they've been shipped, transported by road, stocked and sold by a store, who is really gaining anything, after each stage takes a tiny proportion of three quid? If only companies dealing with cheapo stuff would think a little more, and everyone would give a little consideration to quality.

But if you are after something to use in the gym or similar they are fine and can be binned when sweat etc destroys them. Look at what they will be sued for and base purchase on that.

I agree, its like a lot of stuff these days. Consumable items don't need to be this bad, so much stuff can be made to last a lifetime. But it isn't because, (a) most people wouldn't pay the premium price, we'd rather pay for the cheapest we can find, and (b) it wouldn't keep these profit making companies in business. They'd rather make money at the expense of huge amounts waste (ie people buying a pair of these headphones every two months). This is the world we live in unfortunatley.
