This replaces the previous deal for this catfood that I posted a few days ago. I went back to buy some more today for £1.17, to find that they had reduced them even further to 5p a box; and it wasn't a misprice either. So I bought 14 boxes, and would have bought more but that's all I could carry. There were still loads in my local Wilkinsons (Wigan). I think, for some reason they are being classed as Xmas stock (as per post by bargainhunter2009), wgich is why they are so cheap. Happy shopping cat people.

HiLife Kitten/Junior cat food pouches provide all the nutrition a younger cat needs to grow up into a healthy adult cat.
This multipack containing 3 all-meat recipes is suitable for younger cats from weaning to 18 months.
Includes an assortment of 12x85g pouches including Chicken Recipe, Turkey Recipe and Poultry Recipe.
This is a complete petfood for cats and is free from artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Expires November 2010:thumbsup:
Good job really. I'm going back for more tomorrow (if they still have any)

Damn. I'm tempted to pop down to one of these stores (none near me), just to clear out the shelf of this food. I've just spent over £150 on cat food and if I had bought this cat food instead, at 5p a time, it wouldve saved me a lot.

None in Kingston upon thames. Which store was this in?

" So I bought 14 boxes, and would have bought more but that's all I could carry." So more than likely there won't be any left in stores if everyone does the same????
Good deal all the same but what's the point in posting it if people are going to bulk buy so there's none left for anyone else??
#12
14 boxes for 70p. Kin'eck!!!

It's worth going out and getting a cat for that!!!

erm, that kind of IS the point of this site, if yo want that attitude to posts then shut the site down!!

OP gives us all a heads up to bob to wilko's now instead of tomorrow or just driving past.

You know what, you're absolutley right. I should've bought every last one and then not even bothered posting this deal so no-one would know that I like to buy cheap cat food and share my knowledge of where you can buy it for 5p a box.:whistling:

Ii't not the post i object to,and didn't say that, but it's hardly a deal for all if greedy people are going to clear the shelves-is it??

Can anyone smell something?

haha...show us your receipt then and maybe then people will believe it.
#17
Very likely to be store specific.Managers special or just to clear out maybe?
Seems to be a waste of time to start another thread.
Checked three stores locally and they had none.I am not sure if anyone on the previous thread had any success either did they?

yeah. expect to be extremely specific and at this price to go fast. people will be filling trolleys to get all at once. will have a look at my local but expecting nothing to be around.

great if you can find and not all taken at once.

And may I ask what you are feeding your cat on for it to cost you £150?

Ask yourself this question, why would a regular poster on here such as andywedge post this deal for £1 odd a couple of days ago, then again today after revisiting the store at 5pence? And be accused in a fashion of lying?

What is he going to achieve from reposting this deal cheaper if he was lying in the first or this instance?

Most likely localised to Wigan store only, but that doesnt mean others should be there j'excusé

I would like to know if anyone manages to get some at either this stupid price or the £1.17 that I posted earlier

There was a section in Wigan that has 75% off everything that's there. Mostly Xmas stuff. But then there's the cat food amongs it all (and stacked up in the catfood area). I can only think that for some reason they are now included in the "everything 10p sale (or 5p as it is)" that is going to start tomorrow (or today as it appears). If postage wasn't so expensive I'd send you a few boxes mate; but the postage will be about the price you can buy them for everywhere.

Nope...just asking you to do the simple task of putting up a copy of your receipt to prove the price and maybe save a LOT of people a trip into town/petrol/parking fees only to find out it wasnt true.

not calling you a liar, just thought proof would be needed or lets be honest, anyone could put ANYTHING up here as a deal otherwise and people would vote hot just on face value.

So.........a copy of receipt please.

Not going to get into a wrangle with you - the so called 'deal' seems almost completely unbelievable and hence, i just think scanning your receipt and putting it up here would show that 1)the deal exists and 2) you physically took advantage of the offer

Its only going to take a matter of 2 minutes to get it up so why not just do it .....even if its just
to get one over on me and say 'told you so'?

otherwise im affraid it could just be another false heat/rep generator and i dont think thats fair.

Right; you want me to set my scanner up; riffle through the bin for the receipt; scan it; upload it onto photobucket or something then place the link. No. I can't be bothered. If you don't believe me then that's fine. Do you think I care? But I don't like you coming on here and calling me a liar. I hope you don't ask all people who post "instore" deals to provide receipts. Quite frankly I am not interested in heat or rep. Do I get paid for every heat awarded or rep awarded? No, of course not. So what exactly do you think I have to gain by posting deals that are untrue? (Retorical question BTW; please don't post anymore of your nonsense)

is there a competition or offer of some description that's expired??, rather than the use by date being out, if the promo on box has ended ('win a visit to lapland for xmas' type thing!!) then that would explain the need to clear.

oh, and do we really need the 'I'm not calling you are l;iar but I think you've made it up' argument?

Mmmmm. I was going past town and thought I'll pop into Wilky and get some. No 5p cat food I'm afraid. Selling for £1 a box! Which is better than a poke in the eye. So got 3 boxes while I was there. (btw, the Darlington store).

Yes; when I posted the deal originally a few days ago they were reduced from £4.69 to £1 http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/324197/hilife-cat-food-multipack-kitten-ju/; only today when I went in they were 5p. Maybe try again tomorrow as that's when officially the Wilkos sale starts:thumbsup:

omghow silly is this well done for getting cat food and letting us know AFTER ALL THAT IS WHAT THIS SITE IS FOR

In all fairness, I did ask again at Kingston branch and the lady confirmed it was 5p a pack and that there were 6 boxes left on the shelf. If they weren't there, then they have a stock error.

Gues what, there were none. (Sob, sob)

But this does confirm the price. Good deal if anyone can find them.
