Erm...that's a link to their logo. It's a link to a gif file...

Edit: Nice bit of stealth editing there. :-)

Why cold - repost?

Or is because it's not a 5 quid a night deal at the Ritz?
#4
Doesn't seem to be a repost. Thought it was a hot deal myself. You got my 9 degress.

the website is sooooo slow!!
#6
The website will probably be getting heavy traffic due to Travelzoo sending out a newsflash email, hence why it is slow.

Can't understand why this is so cool. Booked 2 nights b&b for 2 adults and a kid at Dunblane Hydro for £119 in August. Seems loads of availability at all hotels.
Code is PR09SP if you want to go direct to a hotel page.

I agree.

Its kind of frustrating that the hotel my family wants to stay in seems to have numerous rooms available that would suit my family as long as we pay full price. With the code there is ZERO availabilty in that hotel every single day from the start until the end of the offer even though the rooms clearly havent been booked yet.

Hope its a good deal for some people but its kind of cold for me. I havent voted either way though..

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but here goes.

Tried booking a room for two nights with the 2 for 1 offer at what was listed as a participating Hilton Hotel in Brussels on their website. It displayed at just over £50 per night.

However, once the total was calculated it displayed at the price for two nights which is a little over £101.

I phoned the Hilton for an explanation and got nowhere. The reservations agent even admitted that she has had lots of calls from unhappy and confused people complaining about this.

Anyone suffer the same? :? :?

also just found that not all offer Breakfast.... WTF?

Just taken a look at the Croydon hotel. Not bad for £37.50 which includes breakfast.

Funnilly enough when I searched for two nights, on my chosen date, it comes up as unavailable however when adding an extra night on and searching for 3 nights it suddenly became available at £37.50 per night which presumably is half price.

I think I may be right in thinking that this offer is not so much a "2 for 1" deal but basically a "half price as long as you stay more than one night" offer.

Therefore anyone having difficulties finding availability might have a bit more joy trying for 3 nights instead.

If not here's another good deal on rooms at Premier Inn for £29:

If you enter the code when searching for availability, then the price shown already includes the discount i.e. they charge you half price (based on the standard B&B rate) for each night, rather than full price one night and £0 the next.

If you searched without the code, it would want to charge you £101 per night for B&B (although likely to be a cheaper advance purchase rate).

There was when I looked just now...albeit still £70-£80 a night. As you say though, it is a nice hotel. Make sure you have put a 2 night stay in, otherwise it won't show any availability for the 2for1 rate. Also, if you tick the 'My dates are flexible' check box, it makes it much easier to find the cheapest available dates to stay at a particular hotel.

If you still get all crosses, it just means the hotel isn't participating. Worth noting though that the list of hotels on the offer page is not exhaustive...there are some that are participating that aren't listed.

Only thing is that it says there is refurbishment going on at the hotel, so I am going to email them and make sure we are away from the works.
