it has been on since Sunday with late rooms lastminute and direct with the Hilton and as these rooms have been taken the price has risen brilliant deals to be had

No Cheaper at all.... We are booked into the Birmingham Metropole Via Late Rooms for the weekend 16th /17th April, I boooked the room last month and it cost £69 for the room (not per person) including breakfast...

The same room, in the same hotel, for the same weekend, is now £119 including Breakfast...

I would'nt book any room direct with Hilton before double checking the price on Late Rooms...

bit confusing. Rate from £52 (in reading) then goes up to £69 when selected, the reduces to £50 with the special offer. Odd.

ED|IT: Save up to 50%, that makes more sense.

Slightly OT and unrelated I know but, a similar thing happened to me while booking something on Alpharooms- Altho I went through quidco first... It was actually cheaper going direct to Alpharooms
Must be something to do with the referral process!!!?

#18
still sounds a bit of a mo

i took advantage of this last year and got a night at the manchester deansgate hilton in a king executive suite, for £96. that included breakfast and all day access to the executive lounge (until 8pm) with an open 'serve yourself' bar and canopés.

bearing in mind the price of the breakfasts alone would have been £25/person, it wasn't a bad deal at all.

doesnt work for me. Dont see how its any weekend anywhere

Link direct from Hilton.co.uk website is here:

EDIT: Direct link to deal was being awkward. Go to http://www.hilton.co.uk and click on the banner on the front page.

There are plenty of deals to be had if you look properly.

Should only be friday, saturday and sunday nights (but I've booked wednesday to saturday at the beginning of February at the Antwerp Hilton using the special rate).

If you don't have a particular date in mind, tick the "my dates are flexible" box and it'll show you the different prices for each night.

Sometimes it helps if the deal promo code is there - PGAWI1 (but most of the time it'll show the deals if they are still available any way.

You just need to know how to look. Because the deal has been running for 6 weeks or so, and because there will be a limited number of rooms at the "cheap" rate, some weekends at popular hotels will be sold out already.

I find these hotels cheaper by quite abit to book through the likes of hotels.com, rather than hilton.co.uk itself. For the hotels ive looked at anyway

Hot my ****

Booked Wardof Astoria Rome half price very happy!
#31
Still expensive for London Hotels, i dont believe they charge as much as they say they do for full price. I remember 2 years ago they had the best deal which was 2 for 1. I booked the canary wharf hotel for £80 for two nights, with breaky and late checkout. Now thats hot!

Nice hotel - stayed there for a couple of days in October last year. The views (if your room is on the right side of the building) are amazing!

Thanks Chris I've booked a suite so get the executive floor for breakfast and drinks, but the room and balcony are overlooking the gardens. Cashed in BA points for the flights so looking like a real bargain for me.

That'll be the right side I think. You should be able to see the swimming pools, the gardens, and then beyond them ... Rome! Awesome at night (and even better during a thunderstorm!)
