Mmm, just looked at the birmingham metropole (Its on their list as one of the discounted hotels) for Friday 26th August, Stayed in a twin executive room there in April and paid £79 B+B...

that same room is now £119 B&B and that is supposed to be with 15-40% off ???

Checking on Late rooms however that £119 room is only £83... for the same date... guess who I will be booking through....
i just checked London Paddington, its coming back at over £200 for a night, I paid only £120 last time they had a special offer.
Some will get good deals form this but at the end of the day hotel rack rates are simply rediculous starting points and there are always far better deals to be had so this marketing gimmick doesn't really mena a lot to most.
seems to be very little I can find at something I would recognise as a discounted price.
