I was thinking of getting one of these but I am a pit paro about leaving something cooking away while im out . Saw some advertised in national paper this week for a tenner in Asda so this well beats that one.

we (morrisons) have had them in for usually £20-£30 but get them on cheapy for £10 every now & then. always considered getting 1 but at £3.42 you cant argue!

Can anyone confirm if they've seem them in other Co-op stores and would this be available in Somerfields?

Many thanks,

Bought one in Whitby, two or three weeks ago - works fine!
Still had plenty on Monday.
Wish they'd get the halogen ones. Missed out on the top deal on those at Aldi.

Cheers, gonna pop to my local tomorrow and see if they have them - perfect birthday gift for my mum!

These things are well worth it. Think this one is smaller than the I have so check what size you need before buying (although for this price you'd be silly not to lol). I try to use mine at least once a week, and i've had it well over a year now - paid between £10-15 for it @ Argos, cookworks.

HOT!!

Are they elsewhere too ?
You know what these deals are like.
Poundland's even worse - the south only. The north gets the leavings that the south don't want - or so it seems !

Its only a little light bulb under a pot it's not gunna do much harm!

I've let mine boil dry a few times - they don't catch fire, they just burn the contents onto the sides of the ceramic bowl, like cement.

Just ordered the recipe book! Thanks! Bought a slow cooker a few weeks ago and needed some recipes! Heat and rep added though for the bargain slow cooker!

I looked in my local Co-op store and no sign of this slow cooker! I suppose I'll have to 'think bigger' (than 1.5L for a slow cooker in future)

6120 recipes here

I bought one a month or so ago and tried a few recipes but tbh really dont think food comes out anywhere near as nice as when cooked properly in a conventional oven (veggies go to mush after a few hours so have had to add them half way through cooking which sort of defeats the advantages). Now its destined to just take up valuable cupboard space like my pasta maker :)

Really? I find veggies stay fine in mine.

maybe I just cut them too small and should make them chunkier

do you put your veggies on top or at the bottom?

Seems to be twice confirmed in one store! Whitby, North Yorkshire.. anywhere else?

Thanks for sharing! do you think that anybody who doesn't venture to Whitby's Co-Op, next to the rail station, may be deprived of these , should they emerge, in some way? :whistling:

good deal, but has anyone actually bought one apart from the OP, no other coop seems to be selling slow cookers.
