I used to have one of these, I believe it was called the magic bullet then, it was absolutely useless. Parts didn't fit together properly and the internal switch stopped operating, after around the 3rd use. Condemned to the bin after that and I bought a smoothy maker from a more trusted manufacturer. Sorry OP but I certainly wouldn't recommend.

On the contrary, I have one of these. Use it almost daily for shakes, smoothies, pancake mix...you name it. Coming up on 2 years old, and it's almost faultless. The only issue is that the seals can come out if you don't check them properly - and it gets messy if you screw up. Apart from that, can't complain. Personally I would recommend...

I've had this for nearly 5 years now and use it for everything. I highly recommend, especially for the price. :)

agreed, I'm still using mine 3 years on. this price is great (bought mine off the shopping channel).

somebody mentioned that the "bullet" is a different make to this one... so I'm not sure anymore if this is the same quality... they look the same.

heat for the price.
