I live in Asia and Hinari are the make we buy for fans. I believe they are another Chinese import. I would buy a fan but nothing expensive and certainly nothing which required great precision or safety, such as this item.

Anyway, despite the company and its products being 2nd rate (or 3rd rate actually) the sole plate being steel is a deal breaker. Anyone knows you sure as hell don't want steel for an iron sole plate. Avoid, but ok to buy a fan from if significantly cheaper than other models.

For those of you with a Makro card Makro in Glasgow is selling a Hinari steam generator (not sure if its this model) for £29.99 (ie ~£34.50 inc VAT).

cheap tat, avoid like the plague, you can buy a BRANDED steam generator iron for £50/£60 all day long, just google it.

I think he meant, why put LOL when something isn't even funny. Unless of course one gets immense amusement from ironing. I unfortunately, am not one of them.

oldham tj hughes has about 10 of these out, i work there and i put them out, just thought id say in case its of use to anyone... there was an old man and woman, and they had no idea this was an iron, was pretty funny
