Tesco Perth (Edinburgh Rd store) is selling HippyChick Hipseats for £10. This will probably be store specific and not nationwide, but a great bargain for those looking for such an item. RRP is around £38 - Amazon selling for £32.50 and cheapest in a quick google was Asda at £28.13.

it's a big belt for carrying your toddler on your hip, the sticky out bit is what they sit on

They are a hip carrier for babies/toddlers (6+ months). They strap around your waist (velcro and a buckle) and you rest your wee one on the seat and hold them with your arm. Makes it a lot easier as they get heavier. There are no straps etc. that hold them in/to you.

I've tried a few carriers for babywearing such as Baby Bjorn and Boba as my little one has gotten older. The Hipseat is a variant, albeit not handsfree, which has its uses when you don't want the full on carrier.

Hope this helps.

Really good price. Paid about £20 for ours which was good at the time. Used all the while until I got pregnant again. Now starting to get used again. Shame I've never seen them in our local Tesco extra.
