Hire Graffiti Artists - £145.00 @ Graffiti 4 Hire

Something a bit different. I was looking at redecorating my son's bedroom last year and contacted http://www.graffiti4hire.co.uk for a quote which came back as £295 + £80 travel expenses for one wall. Just received an e-mail saying this is now £145 all-in. Unfortunately, my wife has other plans now (involving en-suite bathrooms £££) but I thought this was a good price for a bit of individual artwork.

I wonder if they do Thomas the Tank Engine designs?? HOT!

interesting

Can I hire Banksy?

What would my wall be worth then?
#5
It will be a spotty little virgin carrying a skateboard who turns up to paint it. Still £145 is cheaper than wallpaper

Interesting!

Should just invite the "artist" over then smack them with a hammer in said room. Would get a nice blood splatter pattern.

(yes, I hate graffiti!) - they may be talented, but they are pests!

Voted HOT, believe it or not! LOL

You could then have a wall worth more than the rest of the house ....

UK coverage - no mention of any places in Wales at all - perhaps they feel we have enough graffiti as it is !!
#10
just take a wall from a street somewhere and rebuild it in your house with the graffiti already on it!!

Yeah it's Banksy. He's alway's on here trying to save 10p on Lenor.
He won't be happy that you've sussed him out.

Folks, remember (or learn) that there are legitimate artists - who use spray paint as a medium for fantastic art.
I've seen some of their work and it's completely unlike the tags and scrawl that most people associate with the word "graffiti".
Banksy is starting to open eyes, but not enough have been opened.
Heat added, for finding something different.

I was going to post the same pic as i saw this a couple of years ago at an exhibition at Pictures on Walls where Banksy's work is displayed and sold. Love it but wasn't for sale at the time! :o(

Good deal I think. And gets them to do something constructive with their skills.

Alternatively you could always ask at a nearby art college if someone wants to practice their skills.

My 6 year old wanted a jungle themed bedroom. Local artist did this for £100 cash-in-hand.

graffiti artist cannot draw only tag words. get a proper artist in or some one who can copycat art n draw my advise is to go to ur local college and get a local art student who wud be willing to do it for a lot less then this. and most prob do a 100% better job with no tags. I did my daughters bedroom when she was younger that was done in disney it looked fantastic ...

Graffiti artists cannot draw lol what a sweeping statement from an ignorant perspective!
#21
Does each purchase come with illegible writing?
#22
Graffiti artists who charge usually are ARTISTS and not scribblers (taggers).

£145 is a bargin. If you look at the designs on their website, they are talented.
I've had prices for canvas's more expensive than this.

Hot from me

I use a website called http://www.walltastic.com for my childrens bedrooms,

Their murals start at £34.99 for their classic range and £44.99 for their licensed range, they cover 1 whole wall.

I was very much into the graffiti scene way back in my youth and to be honest these guys are good. Fair play guys for trying to make a living out of your talents and there are some nice pieces around the custard factory (if yours (_;) )
Please don't compare graffiti 'Artists' with tagging........

I've voted hot!

Some of the examples are great - love the shop & office interiors. And the swimming pool! The bedroom designs are not my thing at all but I'm sure some kids will love them.

That is amazing. Thanks for sharing, it's made my day.

Go easy on that guys wall painting people, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all....and i assume its for a young childs bedroom so the child that age wont pick up on the fact you dont get kangaroos in Africa or that Elephants arent normally black.....and he/she did say the local art student was 'practicing' their skills so its not like they are going to be spending days doing their best work, its just a nice little painting he knocked up.

The one thing that 'does' bother me is the fact he paid them £100 cash in hand..........wonder if they paid tax on that?? (_;)

This isn't the kind off crap kids scribble on your garage! This is proper Graffiti art. Have a look on the website. Voted hot from me, maybe not to the standards of banksy but still very good.
#33
I like the concept, could take off nicely.

Yeah, if no one else had mentioned I wouldn't but I would bet that person would be chuckling all the way home with £100 in hand, did you find him serving beans in the lunch room by any chance? That elephant is... interesting, to say the least. I would have given the paint to your daughter and see what she could do... oO

Awesome - you just made me spit my tea all over the place... X)
#37
There are some very arrogant and rude people on this website. Deal not for everyone but certainly makes a change from saving 50p on a 4 x beans.
#38
Personally I think this is a great idea. One of my friends as a kid had his room spray painted with a spacescape which was AWESOME! I am seriously considering this as the disruptive pattern would also 'hide' a built in wardrobe in my son's bedroom.....tempted to try the local art college idea though as that may work out cheaper.

At least in this case, people want the graffiti vandals to mess up their property - but I'll stick with the magnolia thanks

Hot from me! Some people are so negative about graffiti
