For sure. These are my favourite books that I've read and I think those people that read them as children, should read them again as adults and enjoy the story again with the ability to pick up on a lot more than meets the eye.

The Christian church hates them, so by default, I was always going to love them :whistling:

Excellent trilogy which I read on holiday 3 years ago. My favourite is 'The Subtle Knife'. Looking forward to seeing the film too. Good price.

If it gets made, that is.. the box office figures for Golden Compass (Northern Lights) haven't been great. :( I love them all, the latter two more though - I wouldn't want to choose between them! I can't wait to read them again now, heh.

Thanks. Ordered the early hours of this morning.

Please note though that the code for the free book is a one use only. I've used it before, but tried it on this order (for a stocking filler) and it went through OK, but when I received the confirmation they've actually charged me £2.99 for it. Bit naughty, but I suppose it serves me right for being too greedy.

Phoned them up and (hopefully) sorted a refund.

Nice find, for that price I had to buy it and maybe my son will read it too when he's old enough.
