It's an 8 bit + FRC with roughly 350 nits (10 bit has to meet 1000 nits for brightness)

Pretty sure the 7000 is 10 bit.

None of this years models are true 10 bit, they can process the signal but cannot display it (8 bit + dithering)

Read on AV forums that these are 10 bit panelled sets but Hisense use a t-con board that cannot process a 10 bit signal so by proxy becomes 8 plus dithering,it really makes no difference with this set as the peak brightness is nowhere close to the required levels for HDR to be effective.
