Crampton and Moore seem to be fine as a retailer. I think this price is pretty much all you will get it for at the moment. I had one and was impressed by the build quality. Amazon Warehouse though and it was faulty. Since went for the Samsung ks7000 today.

Also I remember reading on a hukd thread a few days ago that someone got JL to price match this. Worth a go for the extra guarantee.

Defo heat from me. I remember I wanted to buy this on Black Friday but the cheapest available was John Lewis selling for I think £729. Does anyone know any good deals on the hisense 4K curved ULED tv? Only retailer I found was John Lewis and they were selling for I think 1800 which is way above my budget

Well I haven't received the KS7000 yet so I can't give a first hand comparison.

I'm no tech either, so can only tell you what I have gathered.

Spec wise, the KS7000 is 10 bit which gives a better HDR experience as opposed to the Hisense which is an 8 bit with FRC (frame rate control I believe) essentially meaning it will process at a frame rate it can handle.

I'm sure there are plenty of AV nuts on here who will correct me and can explain better though. Also check the AV forums.

You should look at the panasonic 4K deal. Much better in comparison.

did JL mention the warranty when agreeing to the price match?
I still can't decide whether to buy this or get the M3300.

I'm waiting for a price match to com in from JL however richer sounds have agreed to come down to £649 so £20 more but get 6 years warranty rather than 2

JL refused me... Sent me this email

Thank you for your email regarding your price match query.

Regrettably we only price match with retailers who have a high street presence.

We will be unable to price match without filling these credentials.

I sent JL a price match yesterday when it was 629.99 but this tv has now gone up and I have only just had a reply so they refused based on the fact it is now 699.99 at crampton and moore :(

Thanks OP a bit convoluted but I managed to get JL to price match Crampton & Moore before the price went back up and then Richersounds matched the JL price match for me. Picked up the TV earlier and very impressed.

Lowered again to 649.99 at Crampton and Moore. Not as good a discount as before but better than 699.99
