the reviews say it's pretty impressive but yeah it's not as bright. but for a 55" 4K tv it should be well worth that much.

same as me. unfortunately ks7000 price has gone up to 1099.
I would have bought one if the price is still 899.
I am waiting to see the price of samsung new qled rumoured to be available in feb/march before making a purchase

QLED lol stands for quality led! Is that all they have to offer for 2017. O let's put a Q in front of led so it looks like OLED. Good luck Samsung hope there more reliable than there phones.

Great deal, poor TV. Died within a month and hisense could not fix it. Refused replacement and got a refund from JL, now waiting for a decent price on the 55ks7000...

Because you got a faulty one, it's a bad TV?

Things break all the time. Its a TV after all. Sorry you had to face this but there are thousands of same TV users who are quite happy :)

No its not its 8bit+FRC

Plus the m7000 is not UHD certified for HDR where the ks7000 is.
However the KS7000 does have judder issues so is not flawless

I ended up returning two because of faults.

I got JL to price match this for the same price before Christmas, over the moon with the television, fantastic value for money. Check out the owners thread on av forum too, lots of useful info.
#25
JL price matching for me but at £633.09 as C&M charge £12.99 delivery.
#26
how is the picture quality on this with sd and hd.
#27
Gotta say, in this price bracket, I'd still go for the Philips Ambilight (http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5389805). Got the 49" version and I'd find it difficult to go back to a non-Ambilight TV considering it syncs up with Philips Hue bulbs too. Worth the extra 20 quid.

Edit: main difference between the two is the Philips isn't HDR (I run everything through an external HDR box)

Can you not by a stand and connect it to the vesa connections on the back of the TV?

I think 55" is too big for the wall my tv goes on

I've never had a Hisense but fancy one for a games room so wondering what it's like for gaming?

For those discussing faults etc, I used to repair televisions and while I've never worked on these I can tell you that I worked on plenty LG, Samsung and Philips tv's that were broken not only within the first year but straight out of the box. It happens. Which is why you should always go for a warranty of 5 years + if you can. They will break, regardless of manufacturer.
