This seems a good deal for the price, but now the million dollar question:

Does one go for this now, or wait a few weeks / months and get a PC with the new Core 2 Duo chips (which look to be really fast, even the entry level E6300 1.866 may be faster / better then the 3.4 that comes with this). Would still be looking to spend about £600-£800 and suspect that I wouldn’t upgrade again for a good 3 – 4 years. Would mostly be using the PC for web, photo processing, and video encoding.

Also has anyone got the 20” dell monitor. Is it worth £150 extra over the 19” (ultrasharp).

or even wait until early 2007 for Windows Vista as I expect most keen PC users will want to upgrade to the new operating system.
