"It’s powered by a 6-volt battery and delivers a surprising 1,850 strokes per minute "

I suspect any owner of said device would be amazed let alone suprised by 1,850 strokes per minute.

Hitachi eh? 1010 Watts is plenty enough voluime for most households, but where does the CD go in?

Not sure of the avante garde styling either ....I like my Hifis the more traditional cube type shape.

Know loads of people who got these, they always look brand new - no use for them, my hacksaw is faster and easier to carry around

LOL, I would love to see you prune trees, chop roots, cut up old doors and window frames, slice up 90mm insulation sheet etc at all with a hacksaw, let alone as fast as with a reciprocating saw. Actually I really would like to see that, can you post some footage up on Youtube please? ;-)

On a serious note if this is the CRV13 like wot I have got then it is a beast of a machine, goes through anything (within reason) like a knife through butter. I paid more on Ebay for mine so this is a real bargain. Does shake ya fillings a bit though. The only gripe I have is that though it has a nice pressure sensitive trigger it doesnt have a speed selector switch that can limit the speed. This is only a minor issue when trying to do jobs where accuracy is more important, for example when cutting 90mm insulation board to size.
