great cheap price
I've had Casio, Sony, Canon and Fuji before and none of them lasted so what the heck might as well give it a blast!!
Hitachi = Vivitar rebranded
It's amazing, it's even got the outstanding Foxconn lens.
It's even shockproof too upto 70cm's. Now why would anyone want to risk damaging this piece of art is beyond me.
Hitachi = Vivitar rebranded

Pretty much right. Once upon a time Hitachi used to manufacture decent kit. Now it's all rebranded crappy cheap chinese junk.

You could buy a 5+yr old second hand old Fuji, Sony, etc 5MP for less that would put this junk to shame.
Mega pixels mean nothing when you have crappy sensors and lenses.

Oh, and it's from the Argos eBay outlet. Good luck getting your money back when you realise they've sold you a paperweight that looks like a digital camera.
