i bought a 1tb few months ago... totally regret it should have got a 2tb. its amazing how fast you can fill them up :(

What does hi-speed usb mean exactly? is it usb 2 or usb 3?

High Speed USB is just another name for USB 2.0

Plus you might as well spend £3.83+ more buy getting an extra £8.02+ product and getting it sent for FREE :-)
