  Im not entirely sure but its probably got something to do with remote access from the internet when you set up cloud too, they will probably give you a web address when you register with them that allows you to access your drive remotely, not 100% sure about this though just an assumption.

  How could the 2tb be available for remote access if the computer that the external drive is connected to is switched off? Impossible !
  
  I would agree, it's likely that the cloud storage is remote accessible and not the full 2tb hard drive.

  Yep, ordered mine,arrived today,from Dabs..packaging was neat and secure. Installed very quickly,its plug & play. Set up an ac with cloud online backup service (3gb free). No probs so far!

  Except that the Royal Mail charge exactly the same postage costs for all addresses in the UK.
