I can highly recommend this drill. Had mine for a couple of years. Batteries last a while and charge quickly too. If i had one gripe it would be that the chuck comes loose on occasion which is a bit of a pain but not enough to be a major problem.

good find op, heat added

Seems like a decent price. Are these cordless drills any good at going through outside walls? I wanted to install a CCTV camera and wasn't sure if I'd need a corded one rather than a cordless...?

I use mine for most things (including outside walls). I Only get the SDS drill out for heavy work.

I have the previous version for many years, only gripe is they changed the battery design a couple of years which means I am stuck with buying old style batteries or buying a new set otherwise excellent

Exceptional drill and it copes fine with heavy punishment too.

Good drill, not too heavy and nicely balanced

brilliant deal though i'd recommend swapping the chuck as they're not the best

The Makita all metal chucks are nice but have used something like this also which would be a marked improvement https://www.amazon.co.uk/Heavy-Professional-Keyless-Adaptor-Hardware/dp/B00EK7LQMA/ref=lp_1939178031_1_13?s=diy&ie=UTF8&qid=1478089471&sr=1-13
